Do I need moving insurance?
While we take every precaution, we strongly recommend insurance for local, long-distance and international moves.
What type of insurance do you offer?
We offer All-Risk, Total Loss and Supreme cover Insurances, more details are available upon request. The Insurance is administered by Oskar Schunck AG of Hamburg, a highly respected specialist in transportation insurance.
How do I make a claim if needed?
Claims are handled through your Move Coordinator, who will guide you through the steps quickly and transparently.
Storage Solutions FAQ
Do you offer storage in Cyprus?
Yes. We provide short-term and long-term storage in secure, monitored facilities.
Is my storage unit climate-controlled?
Certain areas are climate-stabilized for sensitive belongings such as electronics, artwork, and documents. We have a temperature controlled strong room for artwork, but space is limited.
Can I access my items while in storage?
You can access your shipment by making an appointment and only while escorted by our warehouse personnel. Additional handling fees may apply if assistance is required to unload and load items from storage crates.
Packing Services FAQ
Do you provide packing materials?
Yes. We supply all professional-grade materials, including cartons, bubble wrap, crates, and specialized packaging for fragile items.
Can you pack everything for me?
Yes, our team can pack your entire household, only fragile items, or anything in between.
How do you protect fragile or valuable items?
Orbit uses custom crating, cushioning, and high-standard export wrapping designed specifically for international transport.
