Our Health & Safety Policy outlines the standards, practices, and responsibilities that guide our operations and reflects our full compliance with national legislation and industry requirements. This policy is endorsed by Orbit’s Board of Directors and applies to all individuals present on our premises.
Sustainable Integrity
Implementation
We integrate Health & Safety into daily operations through structured procedures, clear accountability, and continuous training. Each department is responsible for enforcing safety standards within its activities, while all staff members are expected to:
- Work in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow company safety requirements and national standards.
- Wear and maintain their assigned PPE when required.
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or potential risks promptly.
Our Technical & Safety partner supports implementation through periodic audits, inspections, and professional guidance to ensure compliance and ongoing improvement.
Monitoring & Review
Orbit regularly evaluates the effectiveness of its Health & Safety Policy to ensure compliance, relevance, and continual improvement. This includes:
- Annual policy reviews
- Monitoring incident reports and safety data
- Tracking corrective actions
- Ensuring adherence to national legislation
- Assessing workplace conditions based on inspection findings
This ongoing review process helps us maintain a safe environment and adapt to emerging risks, evolving regulations, and operational needs.
Health & Safety Commitment
Orbit Moving and Storage is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of workplace safety. To uphold this commitment, we:
- Comply with all national Health & Safety laws and regulatory requirements.
- Provide all relevant employees with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with our certified Technical & Safety partner to fulfill all safety obligations.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections through our contracted partner, in accordance with legal requirements.
- Arrange scheduled on-site visits from a licensed doctor, ensuring employees have access to medical support as mandated by law.
- Make basic First Aid readily available to all staff.
- Require that all workplace accidents be immediately reported and logged in the official Accident Register.
- Strive toward a zero-incident workplace, actively working to prevent work-related injuries and ill health by applying all relevant Health & Safety protocols.

Communication
Transparent communication is essential to preventing incidents and maintaining a safe work environment. Orbit encourages all employees, contractors, and visitors to report:
- Hazardous conditions
- Unsafe behaviors
- Potential Health & Safety risks
- Any concerns that may help prevent future incidents
Reports may be made to Supervisors, Managers, Human Resources, Security, or directly to our Technical & Safety partner. Every report is taken seriously and treated with confidentiality, allowing us to respond quickly and effectively.

Health & Safety is a shared responsibility. Every member of Orbit contributes to maintaining a secure workplace by acting responsibly, staying informed, and raising concerns when necessary. Together, we uphold Orbit’s commitment to protecting the wellbeing of our people and ensuring a safe and productive environment for all.
