Commitment
Orbit Moving and Storage is committed to providing a Healthy and Safe working environment for its employees, contractors and visitors, as such, we shall:
- Respect and comply with all national legislation concerning Health & Safety
- Provide all relevant employees with the required Personal Protective Equipment
- Fulfill our Technical and Safety obligations with the cooperation of our contracted partner
- Regular Technical & Safety inspections shall be performed by our contracted partner of all the company’s facilities and equipment in accordance with the requirements of national legislation
- The company shall arrange for a doctor to visit the premises on a regular basis, in accordance with the legal requirement
- This doctor shall be available for all employees
- The company shall provide all employees with access to basic First Aid
- All accidents at work must be reported and recorded in the Accident Register
- Our target is for zero work-related accidents and zero work-related ill health by applying all relevant Health & Safety legislation
Communication
- All employees, contractors and/or visitors are responsible for working and/or conducting themselves in safe manner in accordance with company requirements and national legislation
- Employees, contractors and visitors are encouraged to report potential Health & Safety risks to the company, in an effort to avoid future incidents
- Such reports should be made to Supervisors, Managers, Human Resources, Security and/or our Technical & Safety partner
Review
This policy shall be reviewed on an annual basis in order to assess its effectiveness and compliance with national legislation
